  1. Hi Hyunjin, here are my comments about your presentation. :))
    1. I like the way that you started and finished your presentation. The structure was well organized, too.
    2. I also like your story telling way and the story was interesting. It was good to know more about Anne Sullivan!
    3. The overall speed and the volume of sound were great so that I could follow your presentation easily.
    4. It would have been much better if you made more eye contact with the audience.
Great job! I enjoyed it. Thanks :) -Shinhee Kim-

  2. Hello Hyun Jin! This is Suh Dong Hyeon from the same Friday class!
Firstly, I want to thank you for the great presentation!
    1. Your accent is very clear and easy to understand! Although I can only listen to your presentation via the internet, I had no trouble comprehend what you were saying.
    2. Also, I think that your speech pace is adequate. Not too slow, not too fast, just right!
However, there are also a few point that I want to mention
    1. Your posture is too stiff. Being a little bit more active in your body language would be better.
    2. If you don’t use the screen, it will be better to turn it off so that the audience can be more focused on the presenter.
Thank you for the good and interesting presentation!

  3. Date: 2016.04.20
    Speaker: Hyun Jin Cho
    Evaluator: Suh Dong Hyeon
Title: The person I admire (Anne Mansfield Sulivan)
    1. What strong points does the speaker have?
Your pronunciation was really clear. Also, the speech was delivered at the proper speed. Both made your speech easy to comprehend.
    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?
You gave detailed information about the person, Sulivan. Actually, I have only heard about Helen Keller, not about Sulivan. So, it was interesting to hear about the person who give support to Helen Keller
    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?
Your speech was well prepared. There was no blurring of pronunciation throughout the speech. Also, almost not a single mistake during the speech. Great!
    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?
You organized your speech well. Introduction, body, and conclusion were all placed at the right positions.
    6. Please comment on the speaker's use of notes/eye contact.
You didn’t see the note too often. You used it adequately and also you didn’t pause when you look at the note, which is great. However, although it was clear that you made eye-contact with the audience, your lack of moving your neck from side to side made it seem like you look at just one point (or one person).
    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?
Your body language was too limited, I think. It would have been better if you had used more active body language.
Also, the screen was on throughout the speech although it was never used. If there had been no screen on the background, the audience could have been more focused on your speech.
    8. What did you like about the presentation?
Your accent, pronunciation, and the pace of giving the speech were all great. Also, you choose the person that everybody knows but almost nobody knows in detail (at least for me). It really caught my attention and keep me concentrated on your speech from the beginning to the end. .
