  1. Really enjoying your video!
    1. Your speech was simply pleasant to hear: tone; speed; power and articulate pronunciation
    2. Your gestures such as the air-quote and throwing the apple made it fun to watch, too
    3. Most of all, you sound/ seem confident.
    4. But you could've used detailed images related to Apple, when introducing its products. It would be more 'Steve-Jobs like'

    2. Thank you for your comment! I really did enjoy making a speech in front of you guys. I also thought that the images might have helped the audiences to understand better, especially for those who do not really know Apple products. However, I just thought that if the ppt was simpler it look more neat and more like Apple(?). Thank you for the advice though.

Hello Dong Gun I am your classmate Seohee and I want to say that your speech was great, your english and accent were very clear. Also your posture was really good, you didn't look nervous by contrary you looked very natural. Therefore you look really confident about what your speech. 4. Hey this is Jin from your class, just saw your speech.
The following are my comments :

    1. As expected, you were great! the intonation and pronounciation was just perfect for a person giving a speech.
    2. I also liked the fact that you added some visual aids to help us understand more about Steve Jobs and apple products. I'm a big fan of iphone and apple products too, but your brief speech also helped me gain a lot of understandings about the subject.
    3. Also the fluency was nice enough. And gestures were appropriate as well.

See you have learnt from your previous speech and strengthened it.
    awesome! See you in class:)

  5. Self evaluation
While I was preparing for my ‘amazing’ speech, which was the main task for our class, I was able to learn more about Steve Jobs and also have a rough idea of ways to effectively deliver a speech. It was my first time taking a video of myself, presenting in front of the whole class in English. Although I was afraid and nervous at first, after a long and steady practice, I was able to overcome the difficulties. I always stood in front of a mirror to see what habits I have when making a speech and I tried to fix them. However, after looking back at what and how I have done during the shooting, I found some bad habits. Firstly, I tend to speak faster compared to other classmates, which is one of my insurmountable obstacles that I have. Although I tried to be aware of speaking too fast throughout my speech, there were some parts where some pauses and slowing down was necessary. Also, I could have used more variety of gestures while I was delivering my speech to catch the audiences’ attention. Some bigger and powerful gestures were necessary for the audiences to concentrate. Lastly, it would have been better if I inserted some pictures of Steve Job’s childhood or Apple’s products so that the audiences who have heard Apple for the first time can get a brief understanding of who Steve Jobs was as well as how the revolutionary products looked like. One of the main reasons why I chose the white background and simple visual aid was because I thought that simplicity would remind the audiences of Apple’s designs and spirit. Though it reminded some, I thought it was not enough. The assignment was a valuable and memorable experience. It was an opportunity for me to know about the problems I had and what I should do more to make an inspiring speech that will hearten many others in the future.
