    Evaluator: Yu Seo Young
    Title : Triwizard Tournament

    1. What strong points does the speaker have?
    She is very familiar with the topic that she introduced, and she is really enthusiastic about it.

    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?
    The visual aids contained all the detailed information to get to understand the subject.

    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?
    It seems she has put quite much effort into making the presentation, and practiced quite much.

    4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?
    She was making it clear, however, wishing that she could slow down a bit since she was introducing some unfamiliar topic.

    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?
    Yes, the speech had specific signals, and the conclusion.

    6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact.
    It is amazing that she did not use any notes, but she was really fluent. Also, she was making eye contact with the audience most of the time.

    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?
    If she slows down a bit, it would have been perfect!

    8. What did you like about the presentation?
    I loved to see her enthusiasm and to feel her love towards the topic.

    1. What strong points does the speaker have?
    While delivering her speech, she asked several questions to the audience, which seemed that she was communicating with the audience. Her use of visual aids was good enough to grasp the audience’s attention. Her deliverance was also very good.

    2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject?
    The topic was interesting and the visual aids used in the presentation kept me more interested to the topic. The visual aids and her explanation helped me know about Triwiard Tournament better.

    3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation?
    It seemed that the speaker had enough preparation. She showed good eye contact. It seemed that she had put a lot of effort into her visual aids as well

    4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly?
    She spoke clearly and her intonation was good. Tone variations also made her speech more interesting. The pace of her speech was fair enough.

    5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion?
    Yes, She had a definite opening, body, and conclusion. She started her speech with a question, which was “So, anyone who is brave enough to say yes to the tournament?” In the beginning, she explained the contents of her speech. In her speech, she talked about what a TriWizard Tournament is, history of the TriWizard tournament, the procedure of TriWizard Tournament, and a conclusion. In her conclusion, she said that the tournament is not just a mere tournament, but it is actually a huge festival, rejoice, love, and friendship.

    6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact.
    She didn’t use her notes and made good eye contact while delivering her speech.

    7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech?
    It would have been better if she only gave important information in her speech. By doing so, she will be able to make her speech more organized. It will also make her speech shorter.

    8. What did you like about the presentation?
    I liked how she delivered her speech. She used various tones and appropriate pauses to get me interested to TriWizard Tournament. Her gestures made her speech lively. I also liked the questions she asked to the audience. Her use of visual aids was good enough to grasp my attention. I also liked her suggestion of making a TriUniversity Tournament.
