Speaking Feedback 1. What strong points does the speaker have? The speaker is very confident about her topics, and by telling the audience that she actually participated in the festival, it made better connection with the subject and the speaker. 2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject? i could see, as an audience what the festival meant, in general sense and to herself. And the materials she used was very adequate.
3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation? Indeed. the speech was finely divided, and process of the whole festival was very clear. And also the activities done in the festival was clearly explained.
4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly? Yes. Her pronunciation and vocal varieties were great. It was very clear for the audience to understand it clearly and audibly. 5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion? Firstly, she introduced her subject by linking to the hot weather these days and moved smoothly to the main subject. The process, which is the body is also clearly seen in the visuals and she added information. And by conclusion she added places to visit like chiangmai, and made suggestions for the audience to visit such places. 6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact. The eye contact with the audience and reference to her notes was finely done. 7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech? It would've been better if the speaker has described the festival using short video clips to show more clearly how dynamic the festival is. 8. What did you like about the presentation? I really liked how she started the talk, and throughout the speech i could see the speaker connected to the subject. The recommendation for the audience part was great too. The talk really motivated me to participate in the festival someday.
